Lal Bagh Palace
The Lal Bagh Palace is situated in Indore City. Indore is regarded as the Industrial and the Financial Capital of Madhya Pradesh. Formerly, it had been under the Holkar dynasty and afterwards the British came to India and defeated the Marathas in a battle. So, a large part of the territory had to be submitted to the British.
So, the Holkar, had to shift their capital from Maheshwar to Indore. So, the present city owes it origin from the Holkar. There were also two splendid temples like the Indreshwar and the Indrapur, from these two temples, Indore had gained its recent name. Indore has a large number of splendid tourist attractions like Lal Bagh and Chhatri.

Indore airport is about 9kms, west from the city center, which is connected by regular flights from Bhopal, Gwalior, Delhi, Bombay, Ahmedabad and kolkatta.
